Book Character Day

The school chose to farewell Mr Bremer by staff and students dressing up as their favourite book character for the day because we know he loves dressing up.

The children got into the spirit of things and enjoyed the opportunity to leave their uniforms at home for the day.

Jump Rope for Heart

The children of Room 10 had great fun participating in the Jump Rope for Heart. We raised just over $220 and as a school we raised over $3,000 which is fantastic.

We took advantage of the good weather earlier in the term and tried to get as much practice as possible.  Our class goal was for each student to do 50 skips each, which they easily achieved.

It was a lot of fun, and great to be outside enjoying the fresh air.

Dirk the Police Dog comes to school

As an extra to our Keeping Ourselves Safe programme, we had a visit from a dog handler and his partner Dirk!  The students enjoyed the display and Mr Harris got to play the 'bad guy', which the children were very excited about.

The Keeping Ourselves Safe programme has been a real success and we have covered a whole range of things, and the children have responded to it in a sensible manner.

Quiet time in the library

Every Thursday morning we go to the Library so the children can choose their new book for the week.  The children really love this time and Mrs Bennett is always very helpful.
