Maths - Capacity

We are learning about capacity and that it means how much is inside an object.  We were seeing how many teaspoons of rice it would take to fill a cup.  First we took turns to throw the dice, then added up the total by making groups of ten.  

Doing activities in pairs is helping the children to learn maths is fun.

Our new classroom

Welcome to Room 10.  We finally have our own space and the children are loving it.  It is much quieter, and visually stimulating with all the latest bells and whistles - we even have self closing windows for when it rains and our very own heater!  We are a very happy classroom.
